Your Madrid immigration procedure, step by step
Your application goes to the Madrid Immigration Office, the one for your address. We prepare and file it; you only attend the personal appointments.
- Online, with us: the consultation, document review, preparing the file and filing it.
- Nationality by residence is filed online and decided by the Ministry of Justice for all of Spain: living in Madrid does not change the procedure.
- In person, in Madrid: fingerprints and TIE collection at the police station you are assigned, by appointment. We tell you what to bring.
- You request the padrón (municipal register) at your town hall; it is usually the key proof of address and residence, for example for arraigo.

Frequently asked questions
Can a Barcelona firm handle my Madrid case?
Yes. Bar registration allows practice throughout Spain, and your application goes to the Madrid Immigration Office as it would with any lawyer. The difference is that everything happens online, on your schedule and without visiting an office.
Do I have to go anywhere in person?
Not to work with us. You only attend the appointments the authorities require of everyone, such as fingerprints or collecting your TIE, and beforehand we tell you what to bring so it goes right the first time.
Who reviews my case?
Our immigration lawyers review it personally. The firm is headed by Constanza Rossi Vibbot, admitted to the ICAB, no. 49.586, which you can check in the Barcelona Bar Association directory.
How much does an immigration lawyer cost with you?
The first consultation costs €35 and lasts 30 minutes. If you then hire the full service, that amount is deducted. Full handling starts at €290 + VAT and the price depends on the procedure; you get the quote before we start, with no surprises.
Do I need a lawyer for an immigration procedure?
It depends on the case. A lawyer makes the difference when it is unclear which route fits, when there is a request for documents or a refusal, or when a mistake could cost you months of waiting or a deadline. If your procedure is simple, we tell you in the consultation and you leave knowing how to do it.
Do you handle requests for documents, refusals and appeals?
Yes. We review the notice and the time you have left, tell you whether to answer, appeal or refile, and prepare the response. Deadlines are usually short: book the consultation as soon as you receive it.
